Quote of the Day

5/25/07--Jack Sparrow: Ladies! Will you please shut it? Listen to me. Yes, I lied to you. No, I don't love you. Of course it makes you look fat. I've never been to Brussels. It is pronounced "egregious". By the way, no, I've never met Pizzaro but I love his pies. And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy?

Gutter Mind

Woe is me. I fell in a gutter again today. This gutter happened to be similar to the one that I fell in, in 7th grade. I shall explain. 7th grade was the year following the release of pirates of the caribbean. I was in love with the sexiness of Captain Jack Sparrow. I took two pics of my love with me to the class retreat. I posted them on the wall. That night, I decided to kind of creep my friends out and thumped on the wall. They thought I had tried to ravish the pics, so I said "fine i'll just take him under the covers so you can't see what i'm doing." Biggum mistakum. I have not yet heard the end of it. Anyway, the wall the pics were on became known as "the wall". Well today, I received a jack and will towel from my secret psycher for the state swimming meet. I am really excited. So I go into lunch and am telling everyone. My first blunder was saying to one of my friends "this could potentially be worse than the wall, i mean this is like full size". Dirty thought, I know. Then later while i was eating (of all things a banana, hmm symbolic maybe?, it wasn't meant to be), I was saying how I was going to save it for the State meet. Then I said "I'll save myself till this weekend". Fortunately only one of my friends heard me, but she's holding it over me for blackmail. For all you readers whom are thoroughly confused, I said i wasn't going to use the towel until this weekend. That the towel could potentially be worse than the wall. And I was going to wait to ravish the towel until this weekend. I wasn't thinking. I'm not planning on ravishing a towel.

State Swimming

This coming weekend my school will participate in the High School Swimming State Competition. I am really excited and cannot wait until Thursday, when our team shall leave school to travel to Nashville for the meet. The meet days are Friday and Saturday. We have early morning prelims and evening finals. I will be swimming Fly on the A Medley Relay and 100 Fly on Friday, the first and last events of that day, and 100 Free and Free on the A 400 free Relay on Saturday, the first and last events of that day. I am so excited. All swimmers, get pumped!

Science Olympiad

Yesterday, I went to the regional high school Science Olympiad competition in Athens, Tennessee. My school competed against 4 others schools for the right to go to the State competition. Normally, we attend the competition at Chatt State but due to scheduling problems we went to Athens instead as did our brother school. My school and our brother school placed 1, 2 (we were 1st) and therefore our teams get to go to State. I extend an apology to Farragut and Bearden who would have gone to the State competition had we not attended the Athens competition. I received a third place along with my teamate M. Deem in Remote Sensing, an event in which Martian terrain was examined and analyzed. It was a wonderful fun experience and I cannot wait until State.

Chocolate

Okay I almost forgot. Guys, buy everyone you know chocolate or at least every girl you know. I know if I got chocolate from some guy, I would definately find a room if he wanted to... JK. I'm not desperate I just LOVE chocolate. So, if by some random chance some guy I know (there's not that many so I shall list them by initials): SR, JB, BL, SD, DC, JH, DT, AW, JC, GV, me daddio, CJS, i think that's all; reads this then they should buy me chocolate, or a rose. Roses smell very lovely.

Valentine's Day

Tomorrow is the day. So I and my friend (unnamed for security purposes) are secret lesbian lovers ;) JK. But we have fun creeping people out pretending we are lovers. For example, we hug and wink alot and sit on each other's laps and call each other endearments (i'm sexy or strawberry or aphrodite and she's sunshine or grape or sunmaid). Anyway, so I told you I attend an all girls school. Well, tomorrow, my sunshine is supposed to covered my locker with large hearts saying "will you be mine my sexy strawberry?". Here's the great bit, even though i'm only a sophomore, my locker is on the senior hall right next to the lunch room. So, every single person tomorrow will see it. LOL!!! Anyway, so, the most recent encounter between myself and mine love was at a swim meet and she sat on my lap. We got all sorts of stares.

Self Defense

I attend a private all girls school. Every year around Valentine's Day we have a mid-quarter break called Winterim. We can sign up for various opportunities, travel, community service, classes, etc. In prior years I have done a community service option to help out for college, but this year I took the self defense class that was offered. It was held at school, and is part of the RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) program offered all over the United States. Normally the program is about 12-15 hours, but to fit into the short break, it was shorted into 8 hours. The first two hours was a very big informative repetitive drag, but then it got real fun. I am now an expert (okay not an expert, but don't try to rape me in a dark alley, or anywhere else for that matter) on self defense. Three different kicks, a knee strike, hammer fist, fist strike, blocks and parries, plus a different way to get out of every choke, hug, or grab. So, basically, I'm giving a shout out to the excellence of that program. As for other opportunities for Winterim, there were trips to Colorado, Disney World, Savannah (GA), and dozens of local community service opportunities. Okay, now I'm going to bed. 'Night sunshines.

Cool and Hello

So that whole first post I just typed went and deleted itself. Go figure. Anywho, hello and welcome. This is my first and only blog. It also happens to be devoted to the randomness of me, Captain Jack Sparrow, the most fearsome pirate in not only the Spanish main, but the entire ocean, the entire world. Yes, I am a PotC obsessor and Captain Jack is my love, but I promise this blog will not be limited to such fleeting fancies (my PotC obsession is particularly fleeting; it has only lasted a period of 3 1/2 years (I know that isn't a fleeting fancy but I do love alliteration, JK)) but shall also have entries devoted to the deep and intricate mysteries of life. Enough chattering like monkeys. I will post more soon. Goodnight my sunshines.
